Thousands of undergraduate and alumnae sisters support the rapidly growing network of strong and successful women  in the organization on the pillars of sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, service, and Asian American Awareness. Our chapter here at Cornell, Tau Chapter, was founded in Spring of 1997, and have thus far crossed over 200 sisters.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our page. alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority Inc. was founded in 1990 at the University of California at Berkeley by 14 inspiring women who had a dream of creating an organization founded upon strength and dedication. Our chapter here at Cornell is Tau Chapter, founded in 1997. We were established at this university as a way for women to create lifelong relationships and pursue their individuality through our pillars of sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, service, and Asian awareness.

Here is a sisterhood that you cannot find anywhere else. We pride ourselves in our diversity and our differences, where we have sisters from all different walks of life, coming together to help each other work towards our individual and chapter goals. What I have learned and gained being a sister of KDPhi, is that if you open yourself up to someone there will always be something that you can learn from them. Since my time in this organization, I have been inspired to be the very best person I can be, by amazing mentors and friends. I have learned that leadership is charisma but also understanding; that scholarship is studying but also helping others; that service is giving but also learning; that Asian awareness is knowing but also reclaiming; and lastly that sisterhood is difficult but also timeless.

I have met some of the most amazing women here, whom I am proud to call my sisters and my best friends. There is something very special in that bond that I know will persist through the years, and there is a security in those relationships that I know will continue long after I graduate. The journey I have taken with them has made me become a better person, and makes me want to continue growing and improving alongside of them. Here at Cornell, there is no better place to experience this than alongside a chapter of inspiring women, and within a Multi-Cultural Greek Community of equally incredible brothers and sisters.
